    External short circuit test

    Afterfullychargingthebatteryaccordingtothespecifiedtestmethod,placeitinanenvironmentwithatemperatureof20℃±5℃.Oncethesurfacetemperatureofthebatteryreaches20℃±5℃,letitstandforanother30minutes.Then,connectthepositiveandnegativeterminalsofthebatterywithwires,ensuringthatthetotalexternalresistanceis80mΩ±20mΩ.Monitorthetemperaturechangeofthebatteryduringthetest.Testresults:Thebatteryshouldnotcatchfireorexplode,andthemaximumtemperatureshouldnotexceed150℃.

    Thebatteryiscontinuouslychargedatthestandardcurrentandvoltagespecifiedbythemanufacturer;thebatteryiscontinuouslydischargedatthestandardcurrentandvoltagespecifiedbythemanufacturerTestresults:nofire,noexplosion,noleakage

    Abnormal charging test

    Afterdischargingthebatteriesaccordingtothecapacityprovidedbythemanufacturer,eachbatterysamplewassubjectedtoachargingcurrentthreetimesthemaximumchargingcurrentspecifiedbythemanufacturer,untilitreacheditsmaximumvoltage.ThebatterywasthenconnectedtoaDCpowersource.Result:Nofire,noexplosion.

    Thebatteryisplacedinthetestingroomandsubjectedtothefollowingcycles:a)Heatupto75±2℃within30minutesandmaintainthetemperaturefor4hours.b)Cooldownto20±5℃within30minutesandmaintainthetemperaturefor2hours.c)Cooldownto-20±2℃within30minutesandmaintainthetemperaturefor4hours.d)Heatupto20±5℃within30minutesandmaintainthetemperaturefor2hours.e)Repeattheabovestepsforfourcycles.f)Aftertheabove5cycles,thebatteryisplacedfor24hoursbeforeinspection.Result:Nofire,noexplosion,noleakage.

  • High-altitude low-pressure simulation test

    Storethebatterycellsandbatteriesinanenvironmentwithatemperatureof20±5℃andanatmosphericpressurenotexceeding11.6KPaforatleast6hours.Afterthesampletest,theopen-circuitvoltageshouldnotbelessthan90%oftheopen-circuitvoltagebeforethetest,Thisrequirementdoesnotapplytofullydischargedbatteriesandcells.Result:Noleakage,noventing,nodisassembly,norupture,andnoignitionoccurred.

  • Battery vibration test

    Thebatteryistestedatanambienttemperatureof20℃±5℃,Thebatteryissubjectedtoaharmonicmotionwithanamplitudeof0.8mm(maximumtotaldisplacementof1.6mm),Thefrequencyvariesbetween10Hzand55Hzatarateof1Hzperminute,cyclingbackandforth,foradurationofnolessthan90minutesto100minutes,Thebatterywastestedinthreemutuallyperpendiculardirections.Forbatterieswithonlytwosymmetryaxes,testsmustbeconductedperpendiculartoeachsymmetryaxis.Result:Nofire,noexplosion,noleakage.

  • Battery thermal shock test

    Thesampleisheatedinanaturalorforcedconvectionoven,withtheoventemperatureincreasingatarateof5±2℃/minto130℃±2℃andthenmaintainedconstantfor10minutesbeforebeingstopped.Result:Nofire,noexplosion.

  • Battery crush test

    Thebatteryistransferredandcrushedbetweentwoplanesatambienttemperature.Thecrushingforceisappliedbyadevicethatexertsaforceof13kN±0.78kN.Oncethepressurereachesitsmaximum,thevoltagedropsabruptlytoone-thirdoftheoriginalvoltage,andtheforceisreleased.Forcylindricalorprismaticbatteries,thelongitudinalaxisisparalleltothepressingsurfaceduringthepressingtest.Forsquarebatteries,onlythewidesurfaceofthebatteryissubjectedtothepressingtest.Forcoin-typebatteries,thepressingtestisconductedinsuchawaythatboththetopandbottomsurfacesofthebatteryareparalleltotwoflatplates.Result:Nofire,noexplosion.

  • Battery drop test

    Afterthebatteryisfullychargedaccordingtothemanufacturer'sspecifiedchargingprocedure,itisdroppedfreelyfromaheightof1montoaconcreteslab.Thecylindricalandcoin-typebatteriesunderwentfourdroptests,witheachendfacebeingdroppedonceandthecylindricalsurfacebeingdroppedtwice.Theprismaticandpouch-typebatteriesunderwentsixdroptests,witheachtypebeingdroppedonce.Result:Nofire,noexplosion.

Battery capacity test

Thebatteryshouldfirstbefullychargedaccordingtothemanufacturer'sspecifiedchargingprocedure,lefttorestfor10minutes,andthendischargedaccordingtothemanufacturer'sspecifieddischargingprocedure.Thecapacityprovidedduringdischargeistheactualcapacityofthebattery(twocharge-dischargecyclesarerequiredbeforecapacitytesting).Result:Theactualcapacityofthebatterysampleshouldbegreaterthanorequaltoitsratedcapacity;otherwise,itcannotbeusedasatypicalsamplefortypetesting.

Cycle life test

Undertheconditionofanambienttemperatureof23℃±2℃,afterchargingasspecifiedbythemanufacturer,letitsitfor0.5hto1h,dischargeittocut-offwithacurrentof1.0Iout,letitsitfor0.5hto1h,andthenproceedtothenextcharge-dischargecycle.Thisprocessisrepeateduntiltheeffectiveoutputcapacityislessthan60%ofitsratedcapacityforthreeconsecutivetimes.Atthispoint,thebatteryisconsideredtohavereachedtheendofitslifespan(thethreeconsecutivetimesoffailingtomeettheeffectiveoutputcapacityarenotcountedtowardsthetotalnumberofcapacitycycles).Result:Thecyclelifeshouldbenolessthan300times,andthereshouldbenoleakageduringthetestperiod.

Battery high-voltage resistance test

Applythefollowingvoltagevaluestothesampleforconstantvoltagechargingfor24hours.a)Thebatterypackconsistsofsingle-stagebatteriesconnectedinseries,withavoltageof10V;b)Thebatterypackconsistsofmultiplebatteriesconnectedinseries,withavoltageof28V.Theprotectiveboardshouldstillbeabletooperateandprohibitcharging.

Overvoltage charging protection

Conduct500cyclesoftestingonthebatterysampleinthefollowingorder:a)Overvoltagecharging;b)Allowtheprotectivedevicetostandstillfor1minuteafterithasactivated.Duringovervoltagecharging,thechargingcurrentisthemaximumchargingcurrentIcm,andthebatteryischargedton*6.0V;ortothehighestvoltageitmaywithstand(whicheverishigher),Theovervoltagechargingprotectioncircuitofthebatterypackshouldactuateduringeachcycle.
